This replaced the cheap round one sold on here that was junk.This one costs more but much better quality. The presets are great and simple to store. The sound is very good and it gets 2 stations my previous radio did not. Have not owned it long so hoping it holds up.

The radio works OK, but the volume can't be turned up enough to allow me to hear it over the noise of the shower.. An older Sony shower radio does a much better job.

I primarily bought this to have an emergency radio on hand, but decided to spend a little more than the ~$25 bottom price point for a simple NOAA-only radio; this has 10 presets for fm, 5 for am, and 5 vhf, weather alerts, compact wire antenna, good sound, good seals, and simple operation. Very happy with my purchase.

After having two other cheaper radios for the shower that were awful, I bought this. It is a fine radio--almost too good to put in the bathroom! Sound is clear, tuning is good and offers various memory otions. Weather channel. Highly recommended.

If I could, I would give this radio 10 stars! I absolutely love it. To be honest, it replaced a much, much cheaper radio which served me well. But this radio does everything I could possibly want. Digital tuning, AM/FM, preset stations, a timer....it perfectly suits my needs which is to be a radio in the bathroom with me as I get ready for work. Therefore, I really can’t speak to it being waterproof. I don’t take it on a boat, or in the shower— just in the bathroom. It is a fairly big, substantial radio, much more so than the small one I used to have. But it outperforms that old radio by leaps and bounds. I highly recommend this radio. Uses D batteries which seem to be lasting well. A+++ all the way around!
