The negatives: Each battery last about 25 - 30 minutes on high setting, but they also take at least an hour to charge. So you need 3 batteries if you want more than a one hour use.The attachment connection is very old school and needs updating. When wearing the pack, you have to secure the hose (like under your arm) and you need both hands to unscrew the connecting nut and screw on the new attachment. It's just outdated technology. Come on Sanitaire. Ever looked at a Dyson???There's no caddy to keep attachments with you so you need to either carry a bag with the attachments, or run back to wherever they are stashed to switch from one to the other. When using both aluminum extension tubes the rig is too long and gangly for small spaces. I discovered I could reduce the size by eliminating one of the tubes, although I'm not sure it's intended that way. Then I could fit in the stairwell without the tubing bumping up on the ceiling/wall and leaving black marks.Battery disconnection is difficult. You must remove backpack, set it down, orient it so gravity is helping, press the release button, pull the battery off it's connection. If you have arthritis in your hands, don't buy this product. This also goes for the charging cradle. Ego has solved this issue. Again, Sanitaire, maybe try some other products and change your design to improve ease of use.I like the hanging remote on a cable to check battery life and switch device on/off. That's a nice feature. The suction is really good. It's not too loud. It's not too heavy.Overall, it's a good product but it needs some design updates to get a better score.

I was anxious to find a very good cord-free backpack vacuum cleaner. After reading all of the reviews for similar items, I settled on this one. I am very happy with this purchase. This appears to be very well built. It is lightweight (the bulk of the weight is in the two batteries.) The backpack is comfortable and easy to secure. The vacuum has excellent suction and comes with an array of nozzles. The batteries are accessed one at a time. So, one must be fully drained before the power of the second battery is accessed. Each lasts about 20 minutes. So, in theory, you can be recharging the first drained battery while you continue to vacuum with the second battery; and then continue with the recharged first battery. All in all, I am very pleased. (I took another Reviewer’s advice and ordered extra vacuum bags at the time of purchase.)

This vac has really good suction power for a battery operated vacuum cleaner - certainly much better than those residential stick vacs whose motor and battery are entirely in the handle. But, of course, this comes with the tradeoff of weight. This backpack vac is certainly not meant to clean up quick messes. You have to get it from wherever you stored it (too big to hang in your laundry room or hallway), potentially plug the hose in and attach the stick, and then strap it on. But once it's on your back, the vac is easy to use and with the various attachments gets into most places with ease. The vac is surprisingly quiet - quieter, in fact, than the two handhelds and the robot vac we own. Similar in sound level to our Miele canister vac.My main issue with this vac are the paper bags. I find it quite annoying that Amazon sells the vacuum cleaner - but not the paper bags that go with it! This vac takes "BP" bags, part #3769 - I cannot find them anywhere on amazon.com. This vac is not a small investment - i.e. it's pretty expensive - the vendor that sells the vacuum should also sell replacement bags. I shouldn't have to go to sanitairecommercial.com for that. Oh, and the product comes with only a single paper bag, so if you buy this product, you better order those replacement bags soon.My other issue with this vac is the length of the stick. Despite being half a foot taller than my wife, I find it too long, whereas she thinks it's just right?! I think it would have been a good idea to make it variable-length.In terms of run-time, we ran it continually for about 1/2hr and the two batteries certainly could handle that time with ease. Speaking of batteries - they are about the same size as you see on other 24v yard tools and the charger can charge both of them at once.

After using a few times, those twin batteries aren’t charging. Where can I return the product back for a refund?

I run a cleaning business and wanted to get rid of the headache of dealing with cords getting caught around corners which really does slow you down. I bought this vacuum hoping that the two batteries were working simultaneously, because the problem with cordless backpack vacuums is that they just aren't powerful enough. I clean a church using this and I still have to keep a regular vacuum with me to vacuum any rugs, or fine carpet in the sanctuary. This does not do well with certain debris that likes to grip carpet such as string, or whole tree leaves, small pieces of paper. It also can't pick up anything bigger than a gum wrapper (and that's on the high setting). I'm going to keep this for my company because it is good for concrete floors, bathroom floors to vacuum tp, etc. and because it does well in those areas, it has cut off about 20 min of time cleaning some buildings compared to corded vacuums. I guess I just don't understand the 800.00 price tag for something that is comparable to a Hoover cordless backpack vacuum or Milwaukee.Update:The suction increased after switching the head/floor tool for a ProTeam vacuum head, the gray one with teeth. Still struggles to pickup some debris in carpet, but that's pretty much the case with any vacuum that doesn't have a roller brush. If time is your main focus and you have a large space to clean, it is worth the price if it's between this and a corded vacuum. Just remember to replace the floor tool.
