With this piece and a little work, I got my older Cycleops smart trainer to accept and work my newer 12 speed Sram AXS 10-44 cassette in ALL gears.

Spent hours trying to install my cassette onto the Saris XDR freehub, thinking I was doing something wrong..So I disassembled my bike and swapped components thinking my cassette was bad (luckily I had 2 XD cassettes on hand). Both fit perfectly fine on the DT Swiss XDR hub on my bike, but poorly on the Saris XDR hub.Upon further inspection of my cassette, I noticed the white plastic bushing thats inside the cassette, was looking deformed and some pieces of the plastic was shaved off. Then I took out my calipers and found out the diameter of the lip on the Saris XDR dimension is waaay oversized (28.22mm) compared to the dimension of my DT Swiss (27.98mm).This is a critical tight tolerance dimension since its a mating surface for the XDR cassettes..Idk how this got past QC and I hope this one unit I got was the only faulty one, and not a batch of them..UPDATE 11/12/2024:The replacement I requested from Amazon was going to take too long (~eta 2 months), that I just decided to cancel that and purchase it new again. It arrived within a week.My guess was right.. I checked the dimensions and its still out of tolerance.. (see updated images)Not only that but it seems the circularity or runout of the dimension is out of tolerance too.I was getting measurements of 28.12mm on the high end, and 28.03mm on the low end.Essentially this critical dimension was 'egg' shaped.I still tried to install it thinking it might work.. nope. Was still hanging up on the plastic bushing.Instead of returning it and potentially getting another bad part, I just used a fine Dremel bit and evened out the area until it was all measuring at 27.95~27.98mm.Installed the cassette and it fixed the issue 100%.If anyone reads this, and wondering why their XD or XDR cassette isnt fitting properly, its because of this issue.I hope someone from Saris reads this too because this batch of XDR freehubs are faulty!
