Embroidery floss is difficult to separate the individual strands without them breaking apart as separate fibers. These hold their shape and strength. So far I’ve only done sample stitch panels on scrap fabric. Im looking forward to my first boro project.

Nice thread with little fraying, keeps its shape. I do have to double-up this thread, though, for the thickness I want. Have used the unbleached and the red. The unbleached was a bit looser than the red, so next white I get will be dyed white. I think the dye helps it sew smoothly and not fray.

Color is true to photo, nice weight to the thread. I bought it basically to compare the frankly confusing thread sizing across different thread weights. Answered my question and have a pretty skein of thread to play with now.

Easy to use for any embroidery I do. When I got it I opened it out in the circle, clipped through one end of the circle and had easy to use size pieces. No tangles, just nice quality.
