I don't even remember ordering this hammer, nor why I ordered it. And yet, it's become my most used hammer in my workshop. I mostly work with small equipment and electronics, with some work with wood and metal here and there.This hammer always seems to be just the right size and weight for almost all my projects. It's hard to share this judgement, as its all about "the right tool for the right job", so its dependant on what kind of jobs you're doing. I strongly recommend paying attention to the stated size and weight dimensions and seeing if that's the size/weight you're looking for.But all in all, I can say that this is a really well made product and I'm really glad Zombie-Me purchased it.

this is for the 37 oz model.....nice ergonomic handle,plenty of shot in the head,made very well in Taiwan,would highly recommend,way better than cheaper orange ones!

I got the 37 oz sized dead blow, and according to my scale, it weighs about 41 ounces.No problem.The only thing I don't care for is the handle.It's a nicely shaped handle, but a bit thin for the weight of the hammer, so as to be somewhat uncomfortable and top heavy.For some perspective, my hands measure 7 1/4" from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger, and about 3 and 3/4" across the width of my palm.This is such a nice hammer, and at $20.49 (as I type this) it can't be beat.I got some paracord (quite a bit softer than mil-spec) and did the wrap around job on the handle.With the handle now larger in diameter, and a bit softer, this hammer feels great, and there's no way I would send it back.

My cruddy orange dead blow hamner finally died.This one cost only a tiny bit more, and is WAY better.Soft, but very tough.The handle is completely non-slip.Intelligently designed.

Imported. Made in Taiwan. Good feature for an old anti-communist like me. Yay capitalism!Really nicely made tool. Over-molding on the handle is impeccable.Reasonable price. I'll be buying a couple more sizes of this tool.

I've come to finding this my go to tap down hammer with my PDR work. The stud weight and feel is perfect for all my knock downs. The other shell is pliable but firm.. ive finish blended high spots as well zero marring or staining.. buy it.. you won't be disappointed

I never new they existed, but they work great if you ever need to bang things and a traditional hammer is too hard. I prefer this to a rubber mallet.
