I'm not pregnant, but I really like the Baccini denim maternity skirt! The elastic inserts at the waist will expand for someone with a growing belly, but they also allow the skirt to be form-fitting enough for someone who is not pregnant. From the moment I tried it on, I could tell it was designed with both comfort and style in mind. The stretchy, relaxed fabric is comfortable and the color is nice, making it easy to mix and match with different tops for various occasions. Whether I'm running errands, meeting friends for lunch, or enjoying a casual day out, this skirt keeps me looking stylish and feeling great. The back slit adds a touch of flair, and the skirt retains its shape even after multiple washes, which is a huge plus!I think this skirt is designed to be worn under your belly, but since I'm not pregnant, I'm wearing it at my waist. I'm 5' 8" and would normally have ordered a Large. Based on other reviews stating how oversized it is, I ordered a Medium. I carry my weight in my belly and like a little snugger fit there to hold it in. I will be able to wear the Medium, but would probably have liked it better if I had gotten a Small. I don't tuck in my tops, so the elastic panels will be hidden by my shirt. The hem falls a couple of inches above my knee.I highly recommend this skirt to any expectant mother looking to stay fashionable and comfortable throughout her pregnancy. I also recommend it to non-pregnant women who need a little extra space at the waistline. It's a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down, making it ideal for any occasion.NOTE: I am a member of the Vine Voice program and received this item at no cost in exchange for my honest review. I depend on reviews when making my purchase decisions and hope this review is helpful to you in making your decision.

This is nice, very stretchy material. Back pockets are real. I feel I could have sized down since it stretches so much.

I'm glad denim skirts are back in style--they can be dressed up or down easily and look great with just about anything across the seasons. This one has a flattering shape which is most-welcome. I have a 32" inseam and this hits me about an inch above the knee--short but modest. It's fitted, but the denim is very stretchy and the not-too-long back vent/slit makes it slimming without being overly form fitting or thigh revealing. It's probable I could loose 10 lbs. or gain 25 and this would still be comfortable and fit well. It's well-sewn and the metal button is plenty sturdy and properly matched to the hole.Best of all the stretch panels extend this considerably without it loosing it's shape.

What a comfortable skirt!!! I'm so glad I chose to get this - I usually wear my tops and blouses not tucked in, and the black elastic panels are, therefore, not a problem for me (I'm not pregnant). The denim material is super nice - soft-ish and stretchy, very comfortable. The only issue - I usually wear a size S, and got this skirt in S as it was the smallest size available in this brand. I wish I could size down though for a better fit.

This is a basic pencil denim skirt with a small (approx 3 in) back slit. It has a stretch panel above where the front pockets would normally be on a pair of jeans (no front pockets here). The denim material has some nice stretch to it as well.I am not pregnant but find the stretch of the denim and the stretch panels make it much more comfortable than a typical denim pencil skirt.I am typically a size 12p (155#, 5'2) in pants and the Medium fits comfotably so I would say this runs big. The hem comes just above my knee. I think the current price of $35 is very reasonable for the style, quality and comfort of the skirt!

Extremely oversized which is so unfortunate. The skirt is very well made with soft denim fabric. The elastic side panels are well sewn. Only problem is that it is 2 sizes bigger than measurements given. It may fit ok in your 9th month but not until then. So sad, too. I really liked the skirt overall. Perfect length, too.

The denim fabric is soft and stretchy, making it incredibly comfortable for everyday wear, especially during pregnancy. The pencil cut gives a flattering silhouette while accommodating a growing belly, and the over-the-bump waistband provides just the right amount of support without feeling too tight.

Love this skirt its very comfortable and I love how it doesn't go all the way over your belly.
