These instruments closely mimic the sound of a rainstorm or a flowing stream of water, with a long sustain as the filling falls through the wooden body. The size and weight make them very easy to handle, and the finish features a traditional painted design.

I love this rainstick. Although the sound is harsh if you tip it straight up and down, as long as you tip it very gently on a small angle, you can soften the sound. The best part is the absolutely beautiful design. Also, it's small & fits easily into my tote bag. Thank you!

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. He hasn't seen it yet. It "trickles" when turned over, but not as long as I wish it did. He may like it. Who knows.

The Rainstick cracked open, all along one side, the first week I had it. Not sure what caused it to crack but it was unrepairable. Aside from this, it was a beautiful product with a nice sound.

The Rainstick is actually pretty in person. I would recommend this item to anyone.

This is a beautiful rainstick! It was perfect as a gift. However, it does not produce a long-lasting rain sound. The stuff inside slides through too quickly, all at once, instead of slowly. It's great for looks, but I would spend a little more if you want a higher quality rain sound.

It does not look anything like the picture. It was not even wood or cactus. It was vinyl or plastic and it didn’t sound like a rain stick. It was also really little. I’m still waiting for my refund!
