Decent enough for dry sketching, drawing, not good for wet watercoloring. It holds gel ink, black ink very well. Very economic for beginners/kids to practice on without wasting good sketch pads. 500 sheets is a lot of paper. The very white color, texture and thickness are suitable for our needs. Would love to buy it again.

I have ordered many different brands of white paper for my kids art (painting with tempera and water colors as well as crayons, markers, oil crayons, and colored pencils) this one is by far the best value for the money. It is really white and just the right thickness for paint not to bleed through. If too much water is used it does get flimsy but because of this my 3 yo has learned to use less water so it’s a win/win. I highly recommend this paper even over Melissa and Doug which can get pretty pricey at the rate my kids produce Art.

At 90 lb, the paper is sturdy enough for various media, including wet techniques like watercolor, without warping.My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit rough on the edges, requiring some trimming for cleaner presentations. Overall, it’s a great choice for classrooms or personal projects, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality drawing paper!

The sheets are nice and big and there's a LOT of it. My kids go through paper quickly (and tend to dig into my printer paper) so this was a nice alternative for them.
