This kit does what I need it to do. The fabric is strong and well-made. All components match the description. I cleaned all parts of my sax and was very pleased with the results. Each cloth was thick, large and easy to use. My previous purchases (not from this company) cost more but were not what I needed. Dollar for dollar, I’m completely satisfied.

I use the swabs in this kit on my tenor sax, even though the kit is advertised as being for alto sax. The swabs are plenty absorbent and the cords are long enough to help remove moisture from either an alto or tenor sax. This is primarily what I purchased the kit for and I’m well satisfied. As for the other included items: The thumb pad can be useful if you have an uncomfortable thumb rest on your sax. There are two small cloths, which I believe are meant to be used to gently tap moisture off of the sax pads. They will serve this purpose sufficiently. The inclusion of screwdriver is a useful tool, especially if you have screws that can come loose on the rods of the saxophone. The key oil is worthwhile, however, mine was missing the applicator tip so be careful if yours is missing the applicator tip - you definitely need a syringe-like tip, so as to not over your keys. The cork grease is another nice extra. I don’t need the white gloves, but if I happen to join a marching band at this late stage in life, I’ll be happy to have them :-) All-in-all, a great value.

I got this kit as a backup so that my saxophone-playing child could have a set at home and one for the band room. It contains a number of useful cleaning tools - I believe the swabs and the cork grease get the most use but the other pieces come in handy once in a while. It seems pretty common for these kits to include gloves but those don't see much use when cleaning a sax (maybe for Halloween costumes?).Overall a good set for the price point.

The listing says for alto sax but as usual with most kits, I bought it for my tenor and it works great.The kit is very thorough, comes with key oil, cork grease, white gloves (which I never use but they all seem to include them), a wire brush and a toothbrush kind of cleaner! One of the most complete kits for the money.The packaging is very good - each of the 2 cleaners (large and small (for the neck)) comes individually wrapped. The quality of the cloth is excellent - seems very sturdy and tightly woven. The real trick will be how long the weights (on end of strings) will hold up. In many inexpensive cleaning kits, they seem to pop off after only a few washes. Hopefully these will hang in there at least with a year's worth of cleaning.Highly recommend this product base on first impression - the only unknown is the durability of the weights. If that proves to be unsatisfactory, will update.

Very nice cleaning kit. I use the long fluffly cleaner (not in this kit) normally for the long part of my sax, but the rest of the things here, the brushes, the cork crease, etc, all are great to have to keep my sax in tip top shape !

This is a nice starter kit to keep your instrument clean and maintained. I bought it for my nephew and it has everything needed to keep his saxophone clean and operating well. My brother checked with his teacher and the teacher said it is a good kit for ensuring smooth operation. I would recommend the kit for keeping your instrument clean and operating appropriately.
