I never thought I'd ever use the lyre socket on my tenor sax, but this Smallan Phone Holder for Sax Lyre Clip works great, allowing me to view the score and play along with backing tracks from YT and similar apps. It can be used either straight in front or out to the left and it holds my phone securely and can easily be adjusted to the desired position and angle. Unfortunately, there's no lyre socket on my Selmer alto, so there's no way to use it with that horn, but I'm very pleased with how well it works with the tenor sax. I would prefer that the stem be gold color instead of silver to match the brass horn, but it's not an issue.

Works well but, I need to remove the case to use with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

You have to make sure your saxophone has the notch to hold this gadget, if it does definitely worth purchasing. My son was constantly propping his phone to look at the music he had written or that he had downloaded to play Definitely hard to do since the phone isn't that big and he can't get super close to it while playing. Enter this little phone holder. It is great and has helped so much. He absolutely loves it.

This phone holder lyre fit perfectly, and seems pretty secure. It was about to hold a variety of phones without issues, and is snug enough to prevent the phone from falling. It seems pretty durable, and it is adjustable to accommodate different angles. No complaints so far.
