These gaskets work great so far. I wasn't sure about them when ordering, but glad I did.Update.... So the gaskets sealed, but only for a very short amount of time. I went to re-tighten the valve covers and they were slightly loose. I tightened down again, but unfortunately oil is still leaking. I'm not sure if the material heated up and took the form of the tight covers or if the bolts backed off. I'm just mentioning my experience. And to be fair to the product, I'm trying these on Edelbrock E-210 heads. Not factory heads. I read some reviews of people having a hard time sealing up these heads at the valve covers. Anyway, I'm trying a different brand of gasket. I'm keeping the 5 stars because I did like the gaskets and I'm not 100% sure if it's the heads causing my issue. Don't use on Edelbrock E-210 heads. Thank you!

I do not write reviews very often but, I feel that it is my obligation to warn everyone that these gaskets did not fit my 383 chevy with aluminum heads. I have changed gaskets 2 other times (due to leaks) and the bolt holes lined up but these would not (to far apart). I reamed the holes with a round file (made them oblong) to get the bolts in! I'm hoping for the best, fingers crossed. Mabe they'll work for you, this is just my experience. Can't say you weren't warned.UPDATE: Have driven about 200 miles, no leaks yet, still holding my breath.On the positive side, less than a week after I posted the above review Vinco contacted me through Amazon's Parts Square and offered a complete refund. All I had to do was click on: YES I WOULD LIKE A COMPLETE REFUND and 2-3 days later my account credited a full refund. Very easy, No strings attached, I did not request it nor did I expect it. I was not asked to change my review. Upstanding company.

These are top notch gaskets, silicone, with metal running through the center, no sealer needed, I did put studs in the head, to line everything up, then used nuts to secure the cover and gaskets, so far no leaks, and if they work like advertised they won’t, and can be used over and over again,

I bought some at an auto parts store because I couldn’t wait for them to come in. One side ended up leaking. And luckily these came in the Mail for my rescue. So I’m this case I got physically see and feel the difference. These are more stiff when the auto parts store was very flimsy and cheap. I ended up liking these way better. Do yourself a favor if you can wait it out on shipping just a couple days, these are a better choice.

Mine are not blue and not very pliable and look like the crappy hard rubber metal gaskets I bought these to replace.
