The brush which had come with my Wahl clippers became too eroded and weathered to work well. I took a chance on this brush. It's bigger than I had thought. The whole brush is 15cm long by 2cm wide. The bristle area is 5cm by 1.3cm.The bristles are moderately firm. The handle is wooden. It's more like a miniature shoe brush one would use for polishing (if that's still done with shoes). Twice now I've used it to clean off my Wahl clipper. It does a good job quickly. It's far faster than the tiny brush which had come with the clippers. I've given it 5 stars. If the bristles end up falling out more quickly than anticipated or if something weird goes wrong like the handle splits, I'll come back and amend this review.

I've had this for several months and it's working very well. It gets the job done much faster and easier than previous brushes I've had.This brush is large for its kind and very solidly made. The bristles are almost 3/4" (1.75cm) long and take up just under 2" (5cm) of space on the brush. The handle is 3.5" (8.9cm) long, which makes it easy to hold onto.

I wish I could get in touch with Scalpmaster but it's next to impossible on Amazon unless you use this avenue. The product itself works better than expected! Definitely worth the 3 bucks. Stop using an old toothbrush. This actually cleans...not just the hair but the actual clippers too. Sometimes there is a little dirt that forms but this cleans it up.My problem with it, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the bristles fall out quite easily. If you look at the photo, you can already see bristles coming off. I regularly used an old toothbrush to clean the Wahl hair clippers but it just made me realize that it isn't enough. Please adhere the bristles better! I hope Scalpmaster gets back to me and at least splits the difference on cost. It should lose bristles this quickly! This was the first time using them in the photo. I'm shocked as to how much it cleaned, but again--the bristles are not held onto the brush as best as possible.

Best brush I have ever used for cleaning the clipper. Will definitely order another one in the future.

Works very well.Large brush surface (compared to the tiny brush that came with my Wahl hair clippers) makes cleaning the clippers quick, and it is also does a more thorough job than the small Wahl brush did. (The Wahl brush hairs bent so badly that the brush is no longer useful, so I needed a replacement.)After about a year of use I have suffered no obvious loss of brush hairs.

What a difference compared to the cheap, tiny brush that came with my clippers! The larger size and stiff bristles make it way easier to clean my clippers. The tiny brush from before couldn't do anything at all.I also use this brush to brush hair off my head, neck, and shoulders when cutting my hair. Brushing off those clippings makes it easier to see the progress of my haircut. I'm gonna buy another one which I'll use on my body, while using my first one for the clippers.

This brush is made well it just has a really big head and the bristles are a bit hard to get into the blades. I think a toothbrush or a brush you can buy at a hardware store works better.

I wasn't kinda surprised when it came in. The bristles are the width of a tooth brush, but wow does it get the job done. I got the poster fast feeds and works brilliantly to get the hair out from under the teeth and between too. The bristles are stiff and have a good density for removing those tiny hairs. Good wood handle too. Perfect length to get a good clean pair of clippers.

The bristles are firm but pliable - I think they nailed it for cleaning clippers. My sink was covered in tiny hairs. I have not seen any evidence of loose bristles (as other reviewers have noted) - I think those people might be using it on their bodies?
