Works very well for me as an intermediate climber looking for a warm up pair of shoes. The rubber is not the stickiest, but very comfortable feel and does the job well enough on low grade climbs. Pretty much all a beginner climber will need to climb and progress. I’m a male and I downsized by 1 from my street shoe size and they are a comfy snug fit (could’ve downsized by 1.5 for a more performance fit)
