I was hesitant to buy a wheel because of the expense. I have always used a drop spindle and recently a kick spindle. After reading an article that said how easy this wheel was to set up and use, I purchased it. It arrived very well packed and was easily put together. I started spinning right away. It took only a short while to get the hang of it. It is different from spindle spinning and so much quicker. My first few attempts were quite slubby but I eventually got the hang of it. I use the easily adjustable tension spring and am able to create very fine threads for three plys as well as large chunky single yarns. It is light weight and isn't difficult to move from room to room or out onto the porch in good weather. It isn't a portable model but I can see that it would easily fit in a back seat to take with you anywhere. The only problem I have is that it is so easy and quick that I keep running out of fiber.

We bought this for a friend and she loves it! She just began working with wool and making her own yarn and this is perfect for her. She enjoys it and it is easy to use. It's high quality and a good machine. We will post pictures when we get some!

Works great, looks great, was delivered on time. Only issue was that it was a Christmas present for my wife and it came in a box with a huge sticker announcing what it was.
