I have always wanted an arm blaster. I used to use one a good while back in my previous gym that was probably from about the 70s. Back in the 2000s when these devices were somewhat of an ancient relic. But the stabilization and focus one can get out of curls is unreal. Just look at Arnold Schwarzenegger using one for that Gymspiration.This one here is a nice and solid metal design. My elbows fit in smoothly and it secures my arms in that standing, preacher curl like position. Ready for action. But I will say that the strap is the weak link here. It's probably sturdy enough but it does feel a bit cheap in comparison to the metal. Same with the little pad that sits behind the neck. It feels like a simple backpack strap adjuster jerry rigged on. I might have been spoiled by that old 70s blaster with it's nice leather straps. I'll see how well these straps last in the long run. At least it is easy to adjust the length with just one clip. Though that's plastic too, so need to make sure not to break that part.Overall, the arm blaster gets the job done and is at a solid price. It's just a little shy of perfection with that strap is all.
