My husband is a contractor and uses this to seal showers. He says he uses it all the time and this is an ongoing/repeat purchase so that says a lot about the product. He says the application is easy, the size is good, and seals great which is what you want from something that is sealing your showers!

We cut this into 5 inch pieces to cover all the screws on our new Schluter board shower wall install. They worked perfect!

Easy to use. On the expensive side though. Of course is a must for any modern shower construction with no alternatives really, therefore expensive.

If you're installing a shower or tub surround using Schluter products, you'll need Kerdi-Band to seal the seams and screw points on the backer board. This was a great value for the band - you'll need enough to cover each joint from top to bottom, as well as 5x5 inch squares for each screw hole - so remember to measure correctly. That stuff goes faster than a paycheck does on bill-paying day.

The stores don't care the 100 ft. roll. Most carry only a 30' roll and that will get you nowhere on a big job. I'm glad to know that the 100 ft. roll is available on Amazon. Beware of the imitators. The Kerdi-Band is much better quality. Yes, it is expensive, but you get what you pay for.
