This is my go to size for matching quilting on a domestic machine. If sewing jeans I jump up to a 16. Good brand.

They work well, except the threader on my machine won't go low enough to thread them as they are long.

I pretty much use nothing but SCHMETZ needles in my sewing machines and sergers. They make the best machine needles and in a large assortment. They are color coded which makes them easy to identify after removed from machine as I am very guilty of just laying them down somewhere and do not remember which one it is but the coding makes it easy to identify.

I was trying to make a jelly roll rug but my machine kept skipping stitches. I tried everything with no improvement of the problem. Finally, someone recommended that I try these needles. Problem solved!! They're excellent!

I ordered a set of Denim Jeans Needle but I got a Needle that says TOPSTITCH Needles. I was expecting an item that says Denim Needles just like the one I ordered. Not so sure if topstitch and denim needles are the same just named differently. I'm a newbie in the sewing world so don't know.
