I got an idea to make an old fashion newspaper with my students and this was perfect. It does rip easily so be careful. But we laminated the pages once we were done and it was the best project we have ever done! I’ve bought it the last two years and I plan to do this project for much longer!

I've always loved newsprint paper. I love its natural color and tender weight. As a teacher, newsprint is a classroom staple, and as an artist and crafter at home, I use newsprint in my studio. I use it as a surface protector, for testing paints and other media, planning designs, and as pages for hand-crafted journals. School Smart paper is as good as, if not better than, other brands, and their prices are quite reasonable. I always keep two sizes in stock: 9x12 and 12x18.

This is great paper! Absolutely perfect for drawing, I use it for sketching. I didn't realize it said 12 x 18, so it is pretty big, but I have a big desk, so I don't mind. It just allows for bigger drawings!

Great, manageable size for wrapping and for craft projects. Would probably have ordered fewer sheets, tho this will last forever! Will probably find many uses for this paper!

This is exactly what I used in high school and exactly what I wanted. These are perfect for practicing drawing, or just drawing in general on. These are also great for kids crafts too. My kids love coloring & painting on these! Graphite pencils work really well on these, as well as colored pencils. Perfect for classrooms & especially homeschooling.

I use this for a shipping filler and also to wrap the items I ship. I will return for more because it is cheaper than what I have been paying and just as good. Shipping was super fast.

I realize this is only newsprint, but it is a very thin newsprint. I bought it for classroom use, and many of my students ended up poking holes through the paper as they were writing and drawing. This seemed to occur mostly with students who were using mechanical pencils with fairly small lead circumference. I would say this paper is good for many uses, but just be aware that it is thin.
