Pros: • Cheaper than every other FM transmitter I've seen so far (I paid $8, while most of the others on Amazon are about $15), despite being by a major name brand • Audio is true stereo • Supports a decent range of transmission frequencies (a total of 20 frequencies, 10 on the lower range of 88.1 to 90.9 and 10 on the higher range of 106.1 to 107.9) • Great battery life (estimate of at least 14 hours) from well-used 6 year old EBL (cheap Chinese brand) rechargeable NiMH 1100 mAh batteries • Won't drain your car battery, as is evidently the case with many FM transmitters that plug into the 12 volt cigarette lighters (supposedly only if you leave them plugged in and they don't have an automatic shutoff feature, but it was a big enough concern for me that finding a battery powered FM transmitter was a major selling point) • Even with the lower voltage of NiMH rechargeable batteries (1.25 volts) compared to regular traditional alkaline batteries (1.5 volts), I've found interference to be rare and only occurring in specific areas, and while it is much quieter than most radio stations, I'm usually only at 50% of my car stereo receivers max volume. Just remember that when you shut off the FM transmitter, you'll get loud static or interference, and if you accidentally change the station on your car stereo receiver, the other stations will be probably *very* loud in comparison to your FM transmitter (at least if you're using rechargeable batteries, or if your batteries are low on power).Cons: • AAA batteries are used. While they're smaller, they're less common and they hold less charge than AA batteries. Alkaline AA batteries hold about 3 times of charge alkaline AAA batteries do, while NiMH rechargeable AA batteries hold about 2 times of what NiMH AAA batteries do. But, this FM transmitter seems to work well and long (at least 14 hours of playback time) with just two well-used 1100 mAh batteries that are over 6 years old at this point.Use the website Radio-Locator to find unused frequencies in your area to avoid interference.I'm using this connected to a Yoton MP3 player, with the FM transmitter's audio cable holding both up onto the phone holder connected to my car's vent. It's somewhat of a janky solution, but it allows me to control the MP3 player and turn the MP3 player and FM transmitter on while having close access to the car stereo receiver's volume controls.

First and foremost, the sound quality is impeccable. Whether I'm blasting my favorite tunes or tuning in to a podcast, the audio clarity remains consistently impressive. Setting up the device is a breeze, thanks to its intuitive controls and clear instructions. Pairing it with my smartphone via Bluetooth is quick and hassle-free, allowing me to seamlessly stream music from my favorite apps without any cumbersome wires cluttering up my dashboard.Another aspect worth highlighting is the versatility of the FMTD13. Not only does it function flawlessly as an FM transmitter, but it also doubles as a hands-free calling device. The built-in microphone delivers crystal-clear voice quality, ensuring that conversations are both convenient and safe while on the road. Now, onto the only downside – the permanently attached aux cord. However, this small drawback is far outweighed by the numerous benefits of the FMTD13.In conclusion, the Scosche FMTD13 FM Transmitter is a game-changer for anyone seeking an easy and reliable solution for in-car audio streaming. With its exceptional sound quality, user-friendly design, and multifunctional capabilities, it has truly enhanced my driving experience. Despite the minor inconvenience of the attached aux cord, I wholeheartedly recommend the FMTD13 to anyone in search of superior sound on the go.

Great quality, gets quite annoying to change the batteries for it after some time. When it’s close to dying it starts annoyingly turn on and off until you manually turn it off. As batteries lose power, it gets quieter so I have to adjust the volume for it to be louder.Sound quality is great, for that price. Signal overall is super horrible, BUT if you mount it at the exact perfect point, personally it sounds nearly CD quality. I used double sided tape so it approximately points at antenna so noise from actual frequency doesn’t go through.Died on me due to a normal wear of 3.5mm jack after a year. Opted for a new one, if I don’t like new one might get another one.

The product was a disappointment - until I figured out how to use it. One simple and essential product information is missing - the input volume should be set at maximum. I by chance found that out while I was scrambling for optimal output. What happens is this. If the input volume is not sufficient, the device fills it up with static sound. When that happens, I also found out another unwritten feature - the output can be captured at two frequencies, one is a barely stereo output with static at the preset, and another clear but low volume mono output at an adjacent frequency. This is why one of the customers review said "only mono audio, no stereo". Once you bump up input volume, the static disappears and you get clear stero output with no lag.I always prefer gadgets that run on replaceable batteries. That way, you will never have to throw it away just because it is out of chargeing cycles. And this is the best in this category.Oh by the way, it runs on two AAA (900mAh) rechargeable batteries for about six solid hours. Again, pl remember, for optimal performance, the input volume must be set at maximum. I am using a single AAA battery operated Sony over-the-ear wearable FM receiver which is great for watching TV using this FM transmitter.

En campo abierto puede que merezca la pena, pero para casa, si hay un par de paredes por medio, no llega la señal.No lo recomiendo para uso en casa
