Because the material is a little squishie you can apply a bit of body-English to really seat it into place pinned under the edge of the door goughing into it even on floors where there’s a little debris. Whatever it’s made of seems mighty durable despite having a good amount of give to it: I don’t expect to have to reorder in the forseeable future, so I see these as a great investment. It’s not the tallest stopper but it still clears my doors on hard flooring despite their being cut for thick carpet, so for most normal use it should be plenty tall.

These doorstops were smaller than I anticipated. They were two in a package, so I simply super glued the two together to make them high enough for the door and it works great.

I took a Star off because on tile for these do slide. So putting felt under these might resolve the issue but they are still function and work

I didn’t know to measure the gap of the door. I assumed all stoppers worked for all doors. It’s very small so the office door I have wasn’t working and it’ll just push it out of the way and close in a few minutes.

These were supposed to firmly hold the door from closing, but the grip is poor and they were a bit hardened out… probably old stock!I don’t recommend!!

Love this translucent door stop - best that I’ve used. Only issue now is my floor is white marble and the stopper kind of gets lost (camouflaged) easily. Hahaha!

These are better than I expected. They work very well to keep bedrooms' doors slightly ajar for air circulation. I was concerned that being transparent they will always get lost in the kids' bedrooms during the day, but it doesn't happen. In fact they stand out much better on a walnut coloured floor than our old dark brown ones were, but they look much nicer.
