This wheel works well to remove scratches and cutting marks from aluminum. I am building an airplane and must remove all stress risers in the aluminum parts. The wheel is mounted on a 1725 RPM 3/4 horsepower buffer. To make it fit the buffer, I put a 1" lock collar on the main shaft of the buffer, and used the regular washer and lock nut to secure it.
