I ordered a marine engine water pump and an impeller replacement kit was recommended to purchase at the same time. The prices were very competitive and original manufacture parts. Really liked the recommendation to get a spare impeller. I was not happy with Amazon, because Amazon said "free shipping" but once I ordered it, I would have had to accept a trial Amazon Prime membership which I did not want.

The aftermarket impeller was a perfect fit for 1/3 the cost. Choice of gasket or o-ring accounts for different variants of the Oberdorfer pump. Needed to be done, raw water flow through my exhaust has doubled..!

Bought this as a spare for my new Oberdorfer water pump on the M25XP engine on my Catalina 34. Love them!

A good product, and a bonus that the O-ring and gasket are included. But it’s important to replace it at 100 hours of engine time. In my experience (3 of them so far) this impeller will fail (throw broken vanes) at around 150-160 hours. This is on a Universal M12 diesel, Oberdorfer pump.

I haven't had any other brand fail on me, so unless someone can tell me there's no difference, I'm going with the anecdotal data that says these have failed, but others have not, so I'll go with the others.
