I am a big fan of glass lcd protectors and use them on my phones and cameras. They seem to hold up better than plastic ones, and I seem to have better luck installing them without dust or bubbles. I installed this protector on 2 cameras... X100v and Panasonic GX85. Here is the technique I used :1) Clean lcd with eyeglass cleaner and clean microfiber cloth to get off major dirt2) Use the enclosed wet and dry wipes to clean screen again.3) Use 3m Scotch Magic tape to clean the lcd again... i use a long strip and go over the entire lcd4) Clean the back removable sticker! It is going to touch the lcd, so get the dust off before installing.5) Position the protector using the 2 strips along a single long edge of the lcd. This is the most important step to get a good positioning. Make sure the stickers are adhered well to avoid movement6) Lift the protector by the edge using the stickers as a hinge. I used a rocket blower one more time to blow out any dust that may have gotten in.7) Start peeling back the protective layer using the black sticker attached to it.8) slowly lower it on to the lcd, holding the edges. make sure top edge is aligned best you can9) peel off sticker completely, and allow it to set onto the lcd like a hinged door closing.I watched the protector "adhere" to the glass, from top to bottom, and there were zero bubbles evident... didn't have to wait for them to disappear.This protector has no rainbow effect, and the touch functionality on both cameras works without any changes. It does not appear to affect the image quality in any way. I don't really care how scratch resistant this protector is, as long as it takes the damage instead of the lcd. It's also nice that they give you 3 protectors, so if you mess up really badly, you can give it a 2nd or 3rd try to get it perfect.I am giving this 3 stars for "easy to install", since a lot of it comes down to luck, and how many protectors you have installed in the past.

I bought this. Installation is pretty easy and the fit is great. After three years, my X100V was in a bag and a lot of pressure got applied to the glass. It cracked. That's ok — exactly what it's supposed to do and the camera screen was protected. I'm buying a new protector today.

I installed it on my Fuji X 100 VI. I was worried how it would come out, but it installed perfectly. The size was perfect and as soon as I touched it to the surface, it automatically sealed itself and pushed all the air to the edge. It was a flawless installation with no bubbles or dust. Amazing.

GOOD:* Everything you need, all in the same kit.* The wet and dry wipes are numbered so you don't waste a microsecond of precious brain energy thinking about which order to use them in. (Yes, it's kind of obvious, but the little things matter.)* The dust-absorbing sticker worked great for getting those few last stubborn specs right before applying the protector. I hate that feeling when you get a screen protector aligned perfectly and applied, only to find there's dust trapped under it.* The protector adhered to the screen immediately and perfectly: no need to slide it around to get it aligned, no excess moisture, no need to rub the surface to get rid of bubbles.* The touch screen of the X100V is still perfectly responsive with the protector on; I can't tell any difference at all.BAD: NoneMEH:The guide stickers only worked so-so for me. Even though the instruction video (right here on the product listing) showed them being used, I would have like more explicit instructions and tips for using them and getting the protector aligned just right. The alignment is still pretty close to perfect, but that's partly due to luck.

hotshoe covers weren't really needed because the camera comes with its own, but i actually put it to use on my canon camera which never came with its own hotshoe cover years ago lol. anyway, it fit on the x100vi screen perfectly. no bubbles or weird air-y edges. went on easy -- standard cleaning the screen, carefully place it on, hit the middle. somehow the tiniest piece of dust got onto the back, but honestly, it's not even noticeable when i have the screen on lol. i'd rather that than end up with a screen full of scratches.
