Well made, durable splining tool. No wobble, and handles .160 spline with ease. There are no markings at all on the tool to indicate country of origin.

My cats had pulled my screen at the top of my screen door. I tried to use a butter knife to put the spline back in but that didn't work very well so I ordered this tool. It was so easy to use and did the job quickly and efficiently.

I knew there was a tool out there like this. My screens would have the veining come out every so often. I would call the screen guy who only would come out if it was big $$$. So the bugs always made it a point to find me on my patio at night. This little miracle solved my problems. After the last hurricane hit Orlando, can't remember the name, cat 1 or 2, I think, I lost 13 screens. I waited for 2 months to get someone to come out. Not saying I could do 13 screens myself, but at least we could do a few while we waited. This little tool will definitely come in handy. Part of my hurricane kit includes veining and screening.

This tool works, but because it's metal and the edges are sharp, it cuts the screen while you are trying to push the spline into the groove. I had to redo one of the screens after using this tool, and I ended up using the scoring end and a screw driver to push the spline into place. Next time I will buy a plastic or nylon tool that won't cut the screen material.
