I picked this up prior to a dive trip to the Yucatán. I was looking for something that would hold all of my gear for a multi-day boat diving adventure that had the convenience of mesh, backpack style straps, and the volume to hold everything I needed to carry to and from the boat. The bag collapses down easily to fit in luggage, held every part of my diving kit (including my wetsuit) and had convenient storage for my log book, tables, and a spare pair of contacts. While diving this collapsed back down and stowed cleanly under the bench on the boat, keeping my backup gear and personal items out of danger. I was planning for most any scenario when packing, and was able to stow my jet fins, BCD, mask, exposure suit, DSMB and reel, two lights, dive boots, full regulator set, weight harness, and wet notes with room to spare.Back at the hotel each night, a quick spray in the shower was all it took to clean it up before hanging to dry over night.I have used duffle style bags in the past, but the easy to access draw string top, secure zipper compartment, mesh construction, and ample drainage sold me immediately. Throw in the backpack straps for secure hands-free transport and this ended up being a perfect bag. Thanks for a great product!

I purchased this bag to replace my old dive bag which was not as sturdy. I can fit my fins, booties, wetsuit, regulator, gloves , mask, and accessories without fear of tearing the straps from the weight away from the bag. There is space for a towel if needed. I haven't tried it out yet to see what the additional weight of a wetsuit and booties would be when wet, butt I think it should support the additional weight. There is a big dry pocket which I can put my clothes in their to keep things dry. The mesh is like a poly propylene mesh with makes it not absorb water. Others are saying their grommets will rust but I haven't gotten it wet, but my old dive bag had grommets and it never rusted. The back pack straps are padded with a front cross strap. and seem to pretty well attached to the bag so I think it can support a fair amount of weight. There is a sewn in pad where the bag rest on the back for cushion and it makes it sturdy. I am not sure if it would make it require a longer drying time because it would absorb water when rinsing and the black fabric seem seem thick enough to last several years. I went with this model style versus the round duffle with handles and a shoulder strap, because the weight distribution would be across both shoulders instead of a single strap with pressure at one location on the shoulder. The front pocket is another feature but I don't think I would make good use of it but nice to have. There are two water bottle pocket which I appreciate it to be deep enough so the bottles don't fall out. Overall I am please with it and plan on keeping it.

I bought this bag for my scuba gear. It is a great size. I like that it is a backpack, so easier carrying and frees my hands. Also the cup holder is a really nice feature.

I have used this bag for around 10 dives and so far, I really like it. Time will tell but the construction feels sturdy, it has a huge front and central pocket, and it is comfy on my back (though you have to load it correctly as there is no back frame - this is typical though for most bags). These are not really cons but a few things would make this bag better - the front central pocket is almost too big and stuff can easily fall out. I like the size but I wish the zipper length didn't extend as far. That way the pocket size is the same but the hole to access is slightly smaller. Also, the side pockets are great but I wish there was a securing strap near the top so I could put my large speargun on the size and secure the top. You can easily add this yourself but a velcro strap would allow spearguns, lobster snares, etc.

It is a large bag and well ventilated. The construction is decent but the eyelets/grommets for the closure at the top are not well attached. Three have come loose already and I'll have to look for replacement grommets to install.

I rarely write reviews (I really should more often, as I rely on them so much), but I was inspired to write one for this bag, as I am really pleased with this bag. Made the mistake of going on a trip without a proper dive bag (I should know better, not like it was my first rodeo) and resolved to get something that would fit both my and my wife's snorkel gear, and this bag absolutely fits the ticket.Easily fits two sets of snorkel gear (fins, booties, mask, and snorkel), with room for two towels and a few other things to boot. Very comfortable to wear as a backpack. Thankfully haven't had to use the whistle, but it's a nice added bonus. Huge interior zipper pocket, and two water bottle holders. Bag drains very well - when I'm feeling lazy, I'll just dunk the whole bag in the rinse tank and it dries quickly.Definitely recommend this bag if you're in the market for something like this!

Did a big trip on the Suwannee River and had to portage 1/4 mile around Big Shoals....Florida's only class 3 rapids. As a kayak camper that's a lot of gear to portage not to mention the kayak. We had kayak carts just for this, but what my compadres didn't think of was how to get all their gear to the other side. I bought 3 of these mesh bags specifically for that portage. All my gear fit within the 3 bags and i simply backpacked it down to the the other side while my friends spent 2 hours back and forth carrying only what they could hold in their hands. They're rugged bags and light weight and folds down fairly well. We're going back in October to do the entire 242 miles. One of these bags will carry my 10 gallon 40 lb capacity animal food container that im using for all 39 lbs of my non perishable food in. The backpack mesh bag will make toting it from my kayak to our campsite more effortless. I'm rough on my gear and so far they've held and have proved their worth. Hope you enjoy your purchase as well as i have.
