I bought this to replace a weight pouch on my ScubaPro KnightHawk BCD Gen 5 Air 2. I dropped one of the original weight pouches while passing it to the helper on a panga (small boat). There is a small label inside of the pouch that tells you the weight it can handle. The original ones were 10 lbs (in my case). I bought the 12 lbs. by mistake, but I will keep them since the difference is minimum and both fit. I assume that they are not fake, since they look exactly like the original. We had several other ScubaPro BCDs on the Liveaboard so in the beginning we mixed the weight pouches. Basically, the only difference I noticed was the buckle size (1.5" and 2.0") and the scubapro label. It might be a good idea to put some sort of identification on them, so they will not get mixed up with other people's weight pouches.

The weight pocket itself is the exact size/make as the one that broke from my seahawk, however the buckle is 1.5x bigger than the original, so the weight pocket cannot buckle and be secured in the pouch. I cannot retread the other buckle onto the new one because of all the stitching on the product, weight pocket is defective and useless to me unfortunately, so I’ll have to continue to dive with a broken weight pocket until I find a buckle that fits

When diving with your own equipment in the Caribbean or in Central America, dive shops will often rinse out your equipment for you. We found that either by accident or design that we didn't always get the weight pockets back, we now make a conscience effort to get them back but I still needed replacements for one BCD from earlier trips.These are from manufacturer and fit the BCDs as they were meant to. They are designed for heavy use and should last the life of the BCD. I do recommend getting the shaped weights that fit them rather than using standard weights, as they reduce wear.

Arrived quicker than planned. This is a nice replacement for my weight pocket lost from my knighthawk XL. After the embarrassment of losing an integrated weight pocket, this really makes me feel better.
