Received a good batch of clay from the seller. Not hard or crumbly. This clay is on the firm side and will not be immediately workable out of the box. The clay has to be conditioned by hand or with a roller before use otherwise it will have cracks and tears in the clay, so keep that in mind. Good variety of colors that mix well together. You don't get a ton of each color, so this is great for smaller projects like beads, small jewelry, or small figurines. This is my first time trying out polymer clay, and I'm happy with Premo.

I use this clay to make food miniatures. the colors are so varied it makes it much easier for me to find exactly what I need. I've already completed a large number of projects with this amount and still have quite a ways farther to go. I have found that just keeping them in sorted ziplock bags has prevented any drying out of the clay. When I had some that did dry out, because I left it out, I just added some baby oil and worked it in and it was good to go again!If I want to manipulate the color I just use chalk pastels applied in layers with an eye shadow brush. I put the colors onto the ray clay, bake it, then seal it. I have had so much fun working with this clay and find it very forgiving and very versatile! A little goes a long way in my crafting but when I do need more I know what I'll be purchasing!

I bought this to see what sculpey had to offer. Varying in hardness and malleability, this multipack will give you plenty of ideas and plenty of clay to work with.

I read most of the reviews so I will comment on those also. This is the clay I buy for jewelry making because the most important aspect is adressed which is hardness after baking. This is a great aspect for all clay artist, which means, the clay ll be harder to begin with and needs to be worked with the hands, often a pasta press does well.Another issue some people had was the small samples of color, but there are reasons: 1- it's a sample pack, more can be boughtin larger packages in more color choices. 2- part of the joy of clay artistry is making your own colors.., tey putting two or three colors of ether (check a color wheel) and mix well, I find it quickest to roll it ovr and over again, mixes quick without marbling. Yes the amounts are small, but it's meant to be a sampling pack.I have femilia tremors, and since I was 19, clay working with this stuff has helped me keep it from growing out of control in my hands.. Especially fine details.. I love this clay and I love making the jewelry for my shop.

Very disappointed, I have never had to give a bad review but this is horrible. Only got 23 and out of those 8 had been opened and used. The clay was so crumbly and hard that it was impossible to work with, I tried the white that was only half a package and 1 hour later it was still crumbly. I'm thankful that I have used premo before and know that it is an awesome polymer but this package is beyond terrible. The colors are beautiful but that's it. Even opened one of the unopened bars and it to was hard and unworkable. So very disappointed. Guess I will stick with hobby lobby.😥

I was new to polymer clay, but wanted to give it a try for Christmas present projects. This sampler pack is a perfect way to get your feet wet in the polymer clay field. I made many, many polymer clay canes and used slices to create 100+ pens for friends and family for small gifts -- even made 25 pens for my mom to give to her caregivers in her nursing home. I ended up re-ordering another pack, but still have much left over for some other projects. The clay was easy to work with, the instructions for baking were extremely accurate, and the resulting presents were very well received. The colors are lovely and vibrant and keep their vibrancy after baking. Would recommend highly to experienced and newbies!

I bought this as I had recently gone on a Polymer clay Pinterest obsession. These are recommended by the best and I can really see why. So easy to use and not messy at all. My four year old son loves making items that we can then bake and keep. Great quality product and colour will not fade once heat is applied.
