I am digging a deep and wide pit in my backyard to act as a drainage reservoir. This spade combined with a jackhammer is a nearly perfect tool for this job. Be aware that the shovel will lose its edge over time, so you need a strategy to occasionally resharpen it.

Returned it because I had a SDS one that broke and the max is a larger spine. Actually looked great but a max drill is to bulky to use in tight spaces.
