If you have a SDS Max Hammerdrill............. you should keep this scraper around for your deconstruction needs. I ordered it in for removing a small tile floor and have now used it tearing apart all sorts of things. If you need or like destruction.......... you will LOVE this tool. The blade and point are made of reasonable quality materials and the blade holds its edge okay. When they start to lose their edge, a quick grinding resolves that issue for another day. I will have this tool for YEARS!Great Tool - BUY One - Highly Recommended.

Just a little background here. I'm 70 years old and just average build... meaning a little overweight and not as strong as I'd like to be. Just a few months ago I picked up an SDS Max hammer drill for the first time when I was trying to break up some cement and bust rocks in holes I was digging for a fence. I wasn't sure I could handle it but the heavy weight of the hammer drill was an advantage in what I was doing. Having said that, the addition of this floor scraper in my tool collection is a big plus to me. The biggest reason is not just that it works so well... and it does work very well, but because it's a multipurpose tool that can perform so many different functions. For a 2 tool bit set this is a little expensive but being able to sharpen the blade repeatedly and then eventually replace the used blade makes the cost worth it. I didn't need another rock drill and this would be cheaper with the scraper only. Together though, it does make for a good demolition set for a SDS Max drill.
