I put this on a wooden Moxon vise with a very low (13) pitch lead screw, so I never needed to crank it hard. One day I noticed a crack on it, so I took it off and pulled on it, and it easily snapped. I held the remaining part of the wheel 3 feet from the floor and dropped it, and it shattered into 3 more pieces. That is not the phenolic resin (Bakelite) that I know! This material was obviously defective. I bought 2 of these, and I'm waiting for the other to break too. I hate to rate this product 1 star because if it wasn't brittle it would be a 5. But it totally failed under very light use so I can't rate it higher. NOT RECOMMENDED!

My older Delta table saw had the assembly wheel brake, and can't find the part or replacement anywhere online. Ordered this and it is sturdy and well built. I had to do a little modification since the bore on the saw is flat on one side so this would just spin, but I worked it out and this does just fine.

The product is of good quality, my mistake was thinking all saws have the same size adjusting wheels. however having said that, i turned a sleeve to suit and it works perfectly.
