This is a pretty good case but the latches are made of plastic and don’t stand up to wear and tear. Both latches broke after 8 months of use. I just ordered new ones directly from Seahorse as I could not find them on Amazon. I also noticed that pelican seems to have the same problem judging by the availability of replacements on Amazon. I guess if you want the endurance and reliably of a metal latch you have to pay a bit more. As a consumer I am pretty tired of the cheap plastic junk that is being produced these days.

This is the second Seahorse case that I have purchased, and I am pleased with both. I flew with this as my carry on with it full of sound gear, and it worked great. This is well worth the money, and the savings are great compared to a Pelican.

Good value, very well built and easy to cut our spaces in the material to hold your electronics, etc. It's also light weight and costs less that many of the brand names I considered - and it's just as well made. Michael

This item was delivered WITHOUT the foam inside it that it clearly supposed to have as per title shown above. Otherwise it is a great case.

pro: USA made, decent latches, decent price.con: top is slightly caved in, the luggage handle on this is highly prone to twisting and damage. took a chance on seahorse, but will be sticking with the usual brands for personal travel gigs based on the handle alone.

I love this case. It’s the perfect size for traveling and it also has very high quality plastic parts. This thing is going to last for several years with heavy use.

Hold my Canon 70D, Three lenses, battery charger and spare battery and tripod. I did sneak my flash in also, but not sure if it will stay due to the room. This is a great case. I can now put my camera gear in the back of my truck and I am not worried about the weather/ moisture getting to it. Even strapped it to the back of the snowmobile a few weeks ago.... Was super happy I was finally able to take my gear with me as were came across four Moose and I was able to photograph them in the snow.

Just what I wanted at a reasonable price. Very well made, they could do a better job describing the foam because it is awesome. using this on construction job site for laser. happy happy happy
