TLDR; for what I paid this is a good value hot rope cutting bladeI used this rope-cutting blade in a Well D550 soldering gun.It heated quickly and cut cleanly thick halyard lines as well as other sheet and lazy jack rigging on a boat project.Past this initial use, I only expect to use this occasionally throughout the sailing season. With that, I expect this cutter to last several years or even a decade so long as is stored in a dry, non-corrosive atmosphere

This is for the Blade only. I though the price as steep as it was, was for the gun too. I was looking for a cheap gun and a blade to cut rope.
