I was going to make a bucket sprayer like some of the other review pics show, but then decided to make something on wheels. I wanted something that I could use standalone or pull behind an ATV. I didn't want to have to rely on the ATV battery, so I decided to use DeWalt batteries. Amazon sells a battery mount that comes with a 20-12v transformer. I added an on/off switch between the battery and the transformer so it won't kill the battery when not in use. The pump and pressure switch work great. Very quiet and awesome flow and pressure. Much better than a pump up sprayer and much easier to user.

This pump is much stronger a better built than what was originally on this sprayer. Only problem was the inlet and outlet ports were in different locations than the box and information supplied told. Message sent to manufacturer and never heard back. That is why it is receiving 4 stars

Edit: Seller reached out and provided a full refund for the below reviewed pump. There was definitely a defect of some sort with my unit but after posting a review they handled it.Extremely loud, product description states no louder than a ceiling fan, that would be accurate if the ceiling fan was gas powered. Shook violently when in operation, and died in a month with a total run time of maybe 15 minutes, I haven't even gone on a trip yet, only used in testing after installation and to spray off a few things in the back of my truck. Contact email amazon provides for the seller comes back undeliverable, contact us on their website gets no response. DO NOT BUY!

This pump will pump at least three times stronger than the pump that came on the liquid tank spreader. I had originally rated this with only two stars because the box appeared to be opened and the product returned. The company quickly shipped me another pump in a box that was secure and accepted return on the first one. This is the kind of customer service that I expect from Amazon and its suppliers.

The package got dropped or stepped on an it won’t come on an the hose discharge and inlet was to small.

The supposed bypass feature doesn't connect to anything, at most a storage space for some more grub screws or to be a boot to wear down as the part is heavier on the side where the hoses attatch. If there's any bypass its built into the pressure sensor itself where the diaphram acts as a mini capacitor between two water diodes. This uses a brushed motor and will need brush replacement heads. Its good for slowly getting water up a water tower for later use. If you want to match a residential garden hose, look for something around 3gpm or ~12 Litres per minute.

I first purchased a similar, cheaper pump (not Seaflo). It burned out after a few days, but likely due to my negligence - I ran it continuously for hours at a time (I'm circulating water from my plunge pool to a tankless heater).So I needed another pump, perhaps larger capacity, perhaps better quality.For me, looking at different brands (theres at least 10 for this type of pump on Amazon) did not make choosing easy.Speaking of "brands", Im a bit dubious, because many pumps look exactly alike. Perhaps there are only a few manufacturers putting different brand labels on the same pump? I'd like to think no, this isn't the case...But I digress...I chose the Seaflo based on reviews.Delivery was very fast.This time, I connected TWO pumps in parallel with one-way-valves in place. I switch from one pump to the other every 15-20 minutes, creating my own on-off cycle time, yet keeping continuous flow.The Seaflo pumps, in general, vibrate less, are less noisy, and they run cooler (regardless of the on-off cycle) than my previous one.I realize that using 2, higher-PSI pumps on a timed cycle cannot be fairly compared to my previous experience with a single pump, but that aside, I think my Seaflo pumps are a good choice.
