I make a lot of baskets and I love it when they are completely shrink wrapped. I feel it elevates the look. I completely underestimated the size of these bags. They are thick and well make. They are for really big baskets which isn't an issue. I will be buying more.

I am known in my family for my gift baskets. I love listening for hints about things all year and filling a basket with one or two large items and all sorts of fun add ons…whether it’s a favorite candy, funny socks, favorite chapstick…or something I can make like fudge. Sometimes when it’s close family and it’s a baby shower or wedding shower the basket gets bigger and bigger…and I need a way to have them look great but hold everything inside. Shrink wrap bags are my favorite type of clear bag because after I arrange everything I can shrink it down and hold it in place just where I want it.These 32†x 40†bags from Seal Fresh are awesome. They are thicker than the stores where everything’s a dollar and of course, notably larger. They shrink very well and hold their shape without tearing or making weird pull marks. ( the pull marks can also be caused by shrinking one area too much before going to another so if you get pulls …try heating the whole bag more evenly …like lightly spraying hair spray…not saturating one area before going to the next. When I use heat shrink bags, I usually tie them at the top with a twist tie. This size bag takes a twist tie that I cut off a roll to be long enough. If the bag is too large, ( for example the bottom corners are standing out like wings… I use clear packing tape to tuck back the corners to the back or to the base. Then I cover the flare / poof at the top, with a very damp tea towel. Damp enough it keeps this area cool but doesn’t drip on the rest of the bag and keep spots too cool. I hold the tea towel around the top as I heat the rest of the bag with a warm to hot hair dryer... This makes a beautiful finished product and then I put a bow around the top over the twist tie. Recently I have even used hair clip bows for a larger look. In the past, I have covered the whole basket with the shrink wrap bag securing the opening and excess at the base. This makes the finished product look more commercial and like I bought it with someone else selecting the items inside or that it came as a set. I mentioned streaks and pulls…some are inevitable based on the basket handle or the items inside but practice ensures there aren’t many.I love these bags from Seal Fresh, they are the perfect size, thickness and they shrink smoothly when heat is applied. For these reasons I am rating these bags five stars.I hope my thoughts, opinions and photos help someone decide if shrink wrap gift bags will improve their next gift basket.

I never knew how much I needed these until I started to use them! They make gift giving so much easier! The bags themselves are quality! I love to make gift baskets up. It is so much more personal. I have never used a shrink wrap bag and I was amazed how it keeps items in place where I put them without having to do other things with them. I also love the size! They respond well to a hair dryer without melting and love that they didn't rip when I was placing items inside. I would definitely recommend these!

Large size and easy to use to create beautifully wrapped gift baskets. The clear nature of it makes viewing what's inside easy. I did have some that tore before I could seal my baskets and they weren't even that strained. I can definitely see this being used for more than just gift baskets but that's what I was using mine for. Overall not a bad product and a pretty decent price.
