The SeaLife SportDiver Ultra Underwater housing works with most Android models & iPhone, including larger Max and Ultra sizes, running current and prior generation iOS or Android. The free SportDiver App captures photos and video directly to your iPhone’s camera roll. The app also allows you to control advanced camera settings, like Zoom, Lens selection, Exposure, Focus, White Balance, Tint, Video stabilization and RAW capture, as if you were using a more sophisticated underwater camera. I did not purchase this as a used or pre-owned product, was not expecting evidence of package being opened such as fingerprints on shiny surfaces and bent corners of the instruction manual. I am uncertain whether consumable products such as the glare prevention strips are missing.

I like the construction, the easement of putting the camera in do with it for the whole week never had a warning light come on people who give it a bad rating they must not be mechanically inclined .

I got this as a gift and love it! My underwater pictures are so much better than any previous camera I’ve owned. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, which fits perfectly. I purchased a video light for it, which was easy to attach and make a big difference. My only gripe is having to go through the pressure test before each dive, but that’s probably an important thing. I would also like to switch between photo and video mode faster.

I recently purchased a new SeaLife iPhone housing at full price. The unit I received was obviously used: dirty case, fingerprints on the screen, missing adjusters, used (pink) moisture muncher. Also included in the package was a slip of paper showing the name of the person who used it in Fiji, along w/Wifi instructions (Zack C, hope you enjoyed using my unit).

On paper this is a great product. Universal phone compatibility, moisture detection, vacuum leak detection, etc. Sound amazing, right? I was excited about it, and it looked good upon initial testing at home. Switching between photo and video is pretty clunky because it requires you to scroll through playback and settings modes (always!!!), but otherwise it seemed to work well. Vacuum pump is included, buttons control phone through bluetooth via an app, so no physical button connection, etc.Unfortunately in practice the product is horrible. First of all, my phone always overheats because you normally dive in hotter climates (Mexico, Bahamas, etc.) and the app keeps the phone on the entire time. It does turn the screen off, but it still manages to overheat very often. Once the phone overheats, the app is shutdown, and there is nothing you can do - the case and the phone are unusable without opening the case.Moreover, the phone always thinks there is a leak even if there isn't one when used outdoors. The manual says it's the changes in the pressure caused by case heating up that makes it think there is a leak (or something like that). So when you test the case indoors with vacuum pump, it's great. When you try to use it outdoors before the dive, it thinks there is a leak and starts beeping. It beeps non-stop and I had other divers get very annoyed by it (not even mentioning how annoying the non-stop beeping is to me). There will be not a drop of moisture inside the case, but the case decides it's leaking and it beeps non-stop anyway...So three main issues:1. Clunky user interface through the app which requires 3-4 button presses to switch from photo to video mode2. Phone always overheats because the app keeps it on3. Case always thinks it's leaking and it beeps non-stop.Unfortunately now there is no way for me to return the case. I find it absolutely unusable.

I have been an underwater photographer for around thirty years and use a massive mirrorless SLR in a housing but my iPhone in this housing competes with it for quality. I now take it on every dive to capture video and photos of the bigger creatures while my SLR is used for macro.

Come tutti i prodotti Sealife è molto ben fatta ed affidabile. Un poco elaborata la preparazioni one ma una volta presa la mano si prepara velocemente. Forse il telefono andava bloccato meglio visto che una volta mi si è mosso dalla sede durante l’immersione

Habe bereits das kleinere Gehäuse, damit bin ich sehr zufrieden. Zumindest für das S24 ultra braucht man das grössere nicht, dieses Handy passt eben noch in das kleine Version-1-Gehäuse. Ich hatte das zuvor getestet und ging davon aus, dass das grössere Gehäuse mehr als nur eine der Kameras (im kleinen ist das so, es wird auch eine Kamera teilverdeckt) zulässt, jedoch muss ich nun feststellen, dass man im grossen Gehäuse, in dem alle Kameras unverdeckt sind, mehrere auswählen kann: dem ist nicht so. Man kann nur eine wählen, dieselbe wie im kleinen Gehäuse. Zumindest für das S24ultra lohnt sich also das Upgrade oder die Anschaffung des teureren großen Gehäuses nicht. Verbessert wurden allerdings die Goldkontakte zur Azslösung des Leckalarms: diese berührt man nun nicht mehr so leicht mit salzig-feuchten Fingern, was zur Katastrophe führen konnte. Auch der Einschaltknopf wurde deshalb weiter von den Kontakten entfernt plaziert. Gut!! Ich hoffe, dass ein Update der Software oder/und die Freigabe von Samsung bald die Nutzung aller Kameras ermöglicht.

Ich kann leider nicht viel dazu sagen, da ich das Gehäuse, nachdem ich die App ausprobiert hatte, sofort wieder zusammengepackt und zurückgeschickt habe. Man kann sich vorstellen, dass es einer Mercedes S-Klasse mit einem Dacia Logan Motor gleicht. In dieser App kann man das Potenzial der Kamera nicht annähernd ausschöpfen. Warum kann ich nicht in voller Megapixelauflösung fotografieren, sondern nur mit 12 MP? Warum kann ich nicht mit 4K bei 60 Frames filmen, wenn mein Smartphone das doch kann? Das konnte mir bisher niemand beantworten. Zudem musste ich beim Händler, bei dem ich bestellt habe, über eine Woche auf meine Rückerstattung warten. Warum das alles?
