Purchased this for a 2014 Ram 1500. It was advertised as having a built in resistor which would avoid any errors. After installing, I am constantly getting error codes. The design and form factor is comparable to similar LED bulbs WITHOUT resistors so I’m not sure where the resistor is considering its size, but I guess it’s in there if they advertise as such. It is also more expensive than similar style bulbs so you’re not saving any money if you have to buy a resistor in addition. The brightness of the bulb is nice and it does fit in the socket well, which is sometimes difficult to find with aftermarket bulbs.

Only works properly when all my lights are off. Hyper flash when on. Just so you know.

Received product as shipped and installed them according to the instructions. Worked fine for the first two days and than started Hyper flashing? Product states that this is not supposed to do this with the built in resistors and is why I purchased them. Also created two check engine lights on dash, skid control and ABS which will not clear!I sent this information to the manufacturer and have not received a response.

The bulb is very good and bright. Even in foggy weather, the car behind can clearly see the brake situation. I bought two boxes, one of which was used to test whether it really has a built-in decoder. Sealight is an honest seller. The 3157 led bulb red does have a built-in decoder. It ensures brightness while preventing hyper flashing. The most important thing is that you don't need to strip the wires to install the decoder. It's great. I recommend it to everyone.
