Works well to partially enclose the cockpit and keep you dryer. It fit my Old Town Heron 9, which is Seals size 4.2, perfectly. I find it easier to put on starting from the front when I am not in it. The deck measures 17 inches from the front edge of the cockpit. I find it not to difficult to get into the kayak with it on but hard to get out without removing it.I recently bought a Seals XL splash deck for a new Old Town Dirigo kayak, which has a cockpit rim that is 48 inches from front to back, and is a Seals size 5.2. The deck on this XL splash deck measures 26 1/2 inchesfrom the front edge of the cockpit. In order to get in and out I found that I can slide the deck forward ten to twelve inches on the attaching bungie cord, providing extra room.

Awesome to keep the water and sun off of my legs. Fit is a bit challenging for a Pungo 100. Takes several attempts and a fair amount of swearing to get it on each time, even though I've removed the little plastic piece at the back and retied it to create more room.

Easy to move around in, especially of you like to carry things in the cockpit. Attaches easily and adjusts with an elastic drawstring.I use mine with a Necky Chatham, which sits pretty low in the water, so any waves bigger than a foot are going to get you wet. Mostly at the back.

This splash deck is a great solution to paddle drips, light rain, or hot sun. I am using this on a Perception Pacifica 11.0. It fits very well and the bungee around the coaming is very sturdy/strong. I have no issues with the arched portion collapsing - in fact it holds a very nice arched shape that both sheds water, holds gear in the pocket, and makes space for me to move my legs around. I also like how this has sped up my launches. I can keep a certain amount of handy items in the pouch and they are ready to go. Paddle leash, etc.

I purchased two of these splash skirts for our Easky's. They go on easily, stow away in the hatch, and do a good job of keeping the sun and water off your legs. In cooler weather it added some warmth without restriction. Getting in and out of the yak with them on is no problem, just push it forward; paddling is not at all interfered with and the adjustable strap keeps the convex shape, allowing any water to roll right off. Great product at a great price.

Fits my Walden Vista well and with a little practice can get it on while floating in the water. Keeps the water runoff from the paddle and other splashing OUT of the boat because of the plastic "molding" (unlike previous decks I've tried which just puddle all the water in the middle and dump it into your lap). Pocket in the front is handy for a map but wouldn't put anything heavier on it or the arc will collapse. Very please with purchase.

I have two boats; a Field and Stream Eagle Run angler ( from Dick's) and a Potomac Catalyst. I ordered one of each size because the Potomac cockpit looked smaller than the large cockpit on the F&S. The XL size works great on the F&S boat with no problems. The cockpit combing on the Potomac was actually as large as the other boat, though the opening was smaller. The combing on the Potomac doesn't roll over enough to hold the elastic cord of the skirt. I couldn't install it by myself and gave up until I could get help later (it was raining). I sent back the smaller skirt to exchange for the XL size. There is also a plastic tube near the knot in the bungee that may be keeping the cord from seating properly.Sizing: What in the world do 1.2, 4.0, 5/7 size numbers mean? Toddler? The seller really needs to explain the sizing. There are a million boats out here and we all want a skirt! Hello!

this works great just make sure you get the right size for your kayak. its adjustable so it shouldn't be a problem. keeps water off me for the most part and still lets you access in your kayak. great for slow moving water kayaking. any white water you should just get a skirt.
