Definitely make sure you get the right size - the company has a size-o-meter for a ton of kayaks, so go to their website and look up your kayak. The sizes are some strange and foreign code. I have an epic 18x and the 1.7 fits my boat perfectly.I got the tropic as I run hot and for paddling about the bay, don’t need anything more. The tropic is lighter and doesn’t provide as much protection as say the touring or extreme models.I would say it is a good buy and would buy another skirt from them.

I took this to FL to go sea kayaking in the Golf of Mexico. It kept the water out. I wasn't sure about size. I am a XXL t-shirt and it fit snug at first but over time it stretched to my shape.

The description on Amazon says the material is neoprene but the deck is nylon and so is the (sleeve?) The only neoprene is a 3 inch transition between the 2.

Great skirt. It's tough to get on when you're sitting in your kayak.But, I suppose that's a good thing. This will not leak.Exceptional for the price. I did buy a new one...same design, butwith a zipper for easier enter/exit.
