I inflated this and let it sit/settle for a week to stretch etc. Then deflated it and put it away. A week later my friend came and slept on it for 3 nights with no issues. I did buy a mattress topper to add a bit of fluff to it and she said it was comfortable, especially for an air mattress. I would buy again and recommend.

Yes, we've owned multiple air mattresses over the past 40 years. Invariably they all lose air and fail in a couple years of use. This 18" from Sealy is by far the best we've owned. We now have 3 for visitors - two twins and one queen. Bought one in Mar 2023 from a different outlet. These are comfortable and you can set whatever stiffness you want. Read the instructions, there is a 3-day break-in period for the rubber to stretch. But after the break in period it holds the air even if you weigh 205 lbs. And the 18" height is a real plus for ease of getting in and out. Granted it has not been a year yet, but I have a better outlook for longevity. Gone are the days of 6" high mattresses for us.

The mattress inflated and deflated easily which is a huge advantage. It was reasonably comfy, though it is an air mattress and i am 60 years old so, not my king bed at home but... It did loose a little air but not enough to concern me in any way.I read reviews like these, so i thought i would help by writing one my self. This mattress was also rated well on a consumer website which also helped with my purchase.

Have pumped it up but haven't tried sleeping on it yet ...seems to maintain its pressure. Built in pump is awesome 👌
