The locks function as advertised and the plastic is a good quality for the price but with most modern car seats the installation could be made easier with a loop or a pass through. I was able to saw in my own loop and with that it functions perfectly for my needs and I’d consider safer since my son doesn’t know how to undo this one unlike the factory option.

I order this as a replacement when the original broke. This one is almost 6inches long! I needed one a little over 4inches. I had to use it while the one I needed shipped. This listing is incorrect
