Steps for planting seedlings
Step 1: Arranging the trays
Place the white seedling tray on the green waterlogged tray base.
Step 2: Place the soil
Fill each compartment with soil, not all the way through, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top.
Step 3: Sowing Seeds
Place 1-2 seeds in each compartment and gently cover with soil.
Make sure the seeds are in good contact with the soil, but don't bury them too deep.
Step 4: Label the Seeds
Use the plant labels provided
Label each variety of seed to help you keep track of growth and distinguish between different plants.
Step 5: Watering
Water gently, making sure the soil is evenly moist but not waterlogged.
Avoid overwatering to prevent waterlogging at the bottom.
Step 6: Maintain Humidity
Place the tray in a warm place, preferably between 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Use a humidity shield to maintain humidity levels.
Step 7: Provide Light
When the seeds begin to germinate, connect the USB cable to the dome.
Provide additional light to ensure optimal growing conditions for the seedlings.
Step 8: Transplanting
Once the seedlings have germinated, developed 2-3 young leaves and are observed to be well rooted, they can be transplanted.

Is this plastic? Yes. Is it flimsy? Also yes. But does it work? Heck yeah - and the green container it sits in holds water, so I can leave the whole thing for a week and not even worry about the seeds. Definitely recommend!

This kit is small and wonderful at the same time. Takes up little space and yet allowed me to plant 60 plant seeds.

I love this product. Just started my seeds yesterday. My only complaint is there is no instructions on how to use the timer and the writing on the timer itself is to small to read. So not sure what each color stands for.

Good quality seed starter kit. The lights work great. I purchased a two pack of seedling heating pads to use with these and they work wonderful together. Have started quite a few veggies with these

I have been gardening for over 30 years and always used the black, flimsy, 72 cell starter trays with covers. They do the job, but are thin, deform easily, and the tops rarely stay on nicely and are too short. You get what you pay for. The NEWKIT starter trays look like they will last forever, or at least until you drop something heavy on it. I really like the tall lids, and the plastic is smooth, no sharp edges. During transplanting the roots slide through the holes, appearing to cause no damage. I like the humidity control and like the clear plastic seed trays which help you see how roots are doing. I will probably build a carrier in order to line a bunch of these together in one holder. These are absolutely worth the price.

I started all of my seeds in my garden with the NEWKITS seed starter tray this year and I don't think I will ever go back to the cheap starter trays that break after one season. These are super sturdy and feel like they will last a long time. I love the distance between the tray and the light; I can keep these under the grow light for quite some time before needing to transfer. I had great success with my garden this year; every thing I planted I started from seed in these. I would definitely recommend this to anyone starting seeds this year, in fact, I think I'm going to buy another set for next year.

The light seems to be a great combo of colors, the cover has multiple purposes for me: keeping my cats from eating the plants but also keeps heat and moisture in and a place to hold the light. I keep these in my south-facing windowsill so they get extra sunlight when it's out. The plug isn't very long so you have to have them all clustered together.

Son unos semilleros/almácigos muy prácticos. De buen tamaño para germinar en casa. Me gustó mucho el diseño y la altura del domo, permite tener las plántulas por más tiempo sin que se maltraten, mientras llega el tiempo de trasplante.

Ordered these as the item description clearly states it is 12 per tray.Received mine and it is 6 per tray.Yes of course it will still serve its purpose but it obviously not the item as advertised.
