I used the heating pad under my sprouting tray last year. It worked great. I will be using it again this year. My seeds sprouted quickly with it. And I think I got more pepper seeds sprouting due to the warmth.

Working great for me. I use them to keep my tie dyes warm while the shirts are batching for 24 hours. ðŸ‘

just what we needed for the inside sprouting efforts. size is great and heat is not overwhelming, but you can tell when it's on.

The mat goes up to 40 degrees celcius, or 104 degrees (maybe a bit above.) This is far too high, but if you simply know this and take necessary preparation by using multiple towel in between it and the seedling tray then its okay. 104 degree is above subtropical climate temperatures, so I am not sure what kind of seedlings even would enjoy this type of climate lolAnyway, the mat works but it heats far above the 85 degree claim... The soil ended up at about 99 degrees before I realized it had gone this high in only about 4 hours. Maybe one could even set some type of timer for it or something, but definitely does not work exactly as advertised!!

I use these mats under the trays of vegetable seeds to help in the germination process as I try to get a head start on spring. They work very well for that. I also use them during the cooler months when I'm fermenting peppers. They hold the temp around 75 degrees quite well.

This heat mat is great due to the heat level and what for how much you spend on it.The only downfall for me is there is no setting to set it at a certain temperature and no built in thermometer like some of the others have. We will have to upgrade to a different one for more co trolley so our plants do even better. Good starter mat, but we're advancing in our plant journey.

put the seed starter trays on it, keep a little water on them and it keeps them warm. had sprouts within 3 days
