I am so glad I got this model. It's extremely hot to the touch though. I mistakenly touched it wrong and Omg, i got burned. Great tool. Easy to use.

I bought this for myself and my son was amazed at the quality. It's a nice little tool that I can handle for crafting and other projects. I used it to hang curtain rods and for gourd projects I like that it is not real big or heavy.

I use the water proof solder connectors for all my automotive wire connections. My wife's hair dryer was just too slow getting hot enough to melt solder. The hair dryer was also big and does not stand on its own. I initially was looking at the older version of this gun. When I found the upgraded version for the same price, I had to buy it. I'm glad I did. The heat shield it came with fits perfectly on the tip of the gun and fits securely in place. I stood the gun on its back and turned it on low. I was done soldering and shrinking my wires together in about 3 minutes. My wife uses it also in her craft. Great tool. Well worth what it cost!

I wish it had a true trigger power switch, instead it has a slider power switch. So if you drop it, it will remain on. Don't drop it. But knowing that the switch felt a bit cheap, I'm still happy with the heat gun. It came with a curved metal shield-like attachment that makes it work especially well for heat-shrink tubing. That's what I used it for, and it worked great. I like that it has two heat settings, too. Use it with extra care for safety.

I have been using this heat gun mostly to remove shipping labels for the past several weeks. So far, it has been just great! I like that it has two speeds and it heats up instantly. I did a little research and I believe this to be the best heat gun at this price point. Also, I think it is the appropriate size and weight (medium and light if you will) for those who may use it several times a week. It still easily fits in a desk drawer or small space. It is made mostly of plastic, but that's expected at this price. It seems well built and put together. I had a question for customer service and emailed them... and they responded a short time later. They even sent a follow-up e-mail! That alone makes me want to purchase more items from them. I would definitely recommend!

Works well. No problems with it. Mine arrived without the curved attachment, but I just hold a piece of metal behind the wire splice to concentrate the heat.

I have a larger heat gun that works OK but this one is smaller so easier to control where the heat goes and the protector at the end concentrates the heat much better, melts the tubing without melting the wire insulation. There are 2 settings 1 is hot enough for heat shrink.

I bought this to do wiring on my UTV and trailer. It is easy to handle and works perfectly. The little deflector is awesome with the shrink tube.

Really enjoying this heat gun, heats fast, works great for my Eva foam projects. Also drys paint nicely as long as you’re careful of the distance. Smaller than a lot of heat guns and light, so it’s easy to hold and love the standalone feature. Overall I would buy again.

Inexpensive heat gun. Use on vinyl and stickers. No issues so far after 10+ hours total usage.

This heat gun is really simple to use. The grip on it is pretty good and the attachment fit well. I suggest placing the tip not completely in as it's pretty powerful and can melt small wire plastic cover if it touches the attachment too much. Would recommend.
