I was skeptical due to the review. We wanted the ease of a cordless joiner but could not afford a name brand. We are building furniture with 2" oak and this joiner cuts as well as our corded Dewalt joiner.

First off, I am not an expert with the biscuit joiner. I do not make panels or frames. I have played around with a joiner before, just to understand the tool and help line up some miters. I have only used the Dewalt joiner, so that is my reference.I am not going to get into how to use the joiner (you can Youtube that). Out of the box I like that you are almost ready to go. The blade is installed (first complaint, mentioned later) and all the pieces are together except you have to slide in the height adjust plate (second complaint). Once installed you are ready to go.Like the Dewalt this joiner has a height adjustment knob and a depth knob. I am guessing all joiners have these. It is easy to dial in the location, vertically, where you want your biscuit cut. There is a dust port, and it comes with a bag.So, operation is simple, and I was able to cut slots no problem. The cutter made the cuts at the expected depths. I did learn, I am terrible at cutting on a 45 degree miter. This will be something I have to practice. Through cutting a couple of dozen holes I have noticed some things:- The blade seemed to cut a slot too wide. No matter what I did the biscuit seemed to have too much thickness play compared to the Dewalt (using the same biscuits) I even created a rudimentary jig to make sure the base plate was always flat on the table. The blade also seemed to want to climb out of the cut. It took a lot of concentration to control the side movement of this joiner.- The height adjustment plat has a few issues. If you are in the U.S., this tool is metric. I have to pull out a metric ruler to get the proper height. With the height dialed in there is no midpoint marker to show the height where the blade will cut. This is something the higher end joiners have. The locking knob came loose a couple of times; which was annoying. There is value as a budget joiner. I am not sure the quality of the blade, and if upgrading it will make a difference. If you are looking to get a joiner and don't want to commit to the high-end models, this may be a good choice.

This is well made and mostly well thought out - its easy to use and does the job without a problem. The fence adjusts with a geared knob on one side and a locking knob on the other side - it works but requires a little caution to make sure that its parallel and locks down at the distance you want. I always make a test cut in scrap wood even with other biscuit joiners -The fence scale is in millimeters - and only millimeters - not a big deal but a note. The depth of cut is an adjustment and a turret - allowing a variety of repeatable stops to be accessed easily and quickly - nice designThe tool is actually quieter than expected and runs very smoothly - big plus.Kit includes a second blade and makes nice clean cuts -The only only weakness I see is that the overall power is less than a corded tool - If you cut too fast, it will overload and stop - good that it protects the motor and battery - and just restarting allows you to finish the cut - so not a big issue - but if doing a lot of biscuit cuts, this is slower and less convenient than a corded tool. For an occasional joint - this is great - just cut a little slower and everything is fine.Setup requires a little caution - again not a big deal - especially if you are leaving this set up for a specific position and the depth settings is super easy to use.In fairness, If I wasn't comparing this to a premium corded tool, it would probably get a fourth star.

Works well used it to join walnut for a countertop, one of the hardest woods and it worked great.

As a new woodworker, I was super excited to try the SeeSii Cordless Biscuit Joiner. I’ve always admired high-quality tools, and while I’ve mostly stuck to big names like DeWalt and Bosch, I decided to give this a shot. Honestly, I was surprised by how well this tool performed. I have a few other tools from SeeSii and this one feels just as solid as the others. It works smoothly and offers features that make precision cuts easy and perfect for a beginner like me who is trying to up their woodworking game. One of my favorite things about this joiner is how easy it is to adjust the angles and height. It made cutting grooves for tongue and groove joinery straightforward, and I loved how precise the results were. The carbide-tipped blade is sharp, durable, and can be resharpened, which is a nice touch. I also appreciate the overall build quality—lots of metal parts, no cheap alloys, and sturdy plastic where needed. It really feels like a premium tool, especially considering its way more affordable than some of the brands that a lot of people like to own. That said, there are a couple of things that would have been for me. I really wish it had come with biscuits, which was kind of a bummer. I was excited to use it as soon as it came but I had to wait until the next day to go buy some. I also don’t have any real use for the dust bag, it’s small and mostly worthless to me. I had a friend come over and he suggested I use mu shop vac and just buy a size converter. I it back to the store again to get the adapter before I could really use it. Now I’m on the third day without trying it out. It works good with my new adapter, but I wish it fit a standard vacuum hose from the start.Overall, I’d give this tool four stars. It’s a solid option, especially for someone like me who’s still learning but wants reliable tools. The cordless design is super convenient, and the 4.0Ah battery lasts plenty long for big projects. If the rest of SeeSii’s tools are as good as this one, I’d definitely consider adding more of their gear to my collection. It’s a great buy for anyone looking to get into woodworking without breaking the bank!
