I purchased this primarily for the visor extender to allow additional sun protection for my eyes....and it works! I drive a lot for work, and whether my car visor is pulled down in front or to the side, there is always a gap that the sun finds it way into.This extender is long enough that it works perfectly. Easy to install; the Velcro straps are long so it fit around my large car visor securely without issue. The straps are wide enough apart that it does not interfere with the vanity mirror on the interior of the car visor.Sunglasses magnet is strong. I don't use any of the pockets yet but I'm sure I eventually will. This is worth the cost as just an extender alone.I'm sure I'll eventually use the pockets

I have a Mercedes gla and this fits on the existing visor perfectly. It does block my mirror on the visor but I never use it so didn’t mind. The extender works great to block the sun on the drivers side window which is why I purchased this. There was always a corner of my window not covered but with this it blocks all the sun on the left side of my face. It is secured by Velcro to my existing visor and holds well, however I don’t put anything heavy in the pockets on this as I’m afraid it will make it too heavy and possibly loose. For the price it’s great.

Like too many cars today, the visor on my 2021 Leaf doesn't extend far enough to block sunlight from the top rear of the driver's window. Brilliant! (sarcasm) Somehow no matter where I go, the sun aways manages to be in that little six inch gap, basically blinding me from the side.After much review, I ordered this clever device, hoping it would help solve the problem. The answer is...IT DOES!!! In fact, with its handy little pockets it even provides storage for cards, sunglasses, and looks good doing it. Instead of cheap plastic it has a nice leatherette surface, and it matches the color in my gray interior incredibly well.The only con is the smell which I hope dissipates soon. The plasticizer they used in the vinyl has a truly horrific odor. Hard to describe, and not the normal vinyl smell (not that I like that either). My hope is that the smell will settle down soon.Back to the design. The opaque sliding blade is easy to pull out to any distance you like, and it's plenty big to cover the entire part of the window that was previously a problem. The product also straps on easily to the existing visor, and due to its design, can be placed to allow full use and access to the flip out lighted mirror. Finally, when stowing or flipping the visor forward, this product doesn't get in the way at all.I consider this a WIN. Now, let's see if the smell diminishes...

Edit 8/18/24: I left my car parked in my driveway for a day (it's usually in the garage) and temps got about 90° outside, as a result the slide out visor became deformed and warped. The pull tab also snapped off when I went to pull it out to see what the problem was. I no longer recommend this item. 0 Stars.This was the most inexpensive of the visor extenders I could find on Amazon. Love the storage it adds especially if you have a compact SUV like mine. Color matches identical as you can seen in the photos. The pen holder is awesome and makes it so easy to grab and put back instead of fumbling around in the console for one. Insurance and registration can fit right right in the card slots. I only wish the black visor that slides out was a bit more thick and sturdy. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase!

This works and intended and is a simple design. The problem is the plastic used does not stand up to an heat and warps almost immediately. It works but it looks terrible now.

I drive a 2006 Acura TSX which for some reason does not have extendable sun visors. Surprising, since Acuras are a Honda Motor Company product and even my dad's Honda Accord has extendable visors. Anyway, that is why I bought this item -- to be able to use its extenders. They do exactly what I needed, blocking the sun in that "gap" off your left shoulder when you have your visor swiveled to the driver's side window and it only covers 2/3 of the window. The extender covers the rest now...no more sun in the corner of my eye! This visor attachment also comes with lots of little mesh pockets but they're all too small to carry anything bigger than a license or credit card. I should've checked other products as I'm sure they make some with pockets big enough to carry your vehicle registration and insurance info. This one does not, at least not that I've seen yet, although I was too impatient to really look it over closely before installing it.

I liked the design of this one, except i wouldn’t put my license or debit/ credit card. Works fine, but for security I wouldn’t. The glasses hasp works fine. The magnet is strong. It matches the decor, the straps are strong and long enough to wrap around my sun visor. The extended visor is a tiny bit wobbly, and it’s light, but it does work well to keep the sun out. I do like the product.

Tried 2 other types of visor shades before this one with miserable results. This one WORKS! because:The Velcro straps are fully adjustable and make for a tight fit.The Visor extension has just the right amount of resistance to keep it in place but not interfere with its operation.It's well made, useful for storing stuff if required.
