THAT WAS MY THOUGHT WHEN THEY GOT DELIVERED. I DON'T REMEMBER WHICH, BUT I HOOKED THEM TO EITHER A MACKIE 1400 OR A PV-2600 AMP, PLAYED "ENTER SANDMAN". I STARTED LOW AND CRANKED IT SLOWLY TO PRETTY DAM LOUD! TO MY SURPRISE THEY HELD IT. FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW, I HAVE USED ONE OR BOTH AT SEVERAL DOZEN, SMALL VENUE, "DJ" SHOWS AND THEY STILL SOUND PRETTY GOOD. THEY DO LACK THE FULL BADASS SOUND I GET FROM MY PEAVEY QW-2's! BUT THE PEAVEY'S COST TWO GRAND AND WEIGHT 96 LBS. EACH. THESE COST ME 274 INCLUDING DELIVERY...AND ARE MUCH, MUCH LIGHTER. CAN'T BEAT IT FOR THE MONEY. I AM THINKING OF GETTING A COUPLE MORE, SO I CAN USE 4 MONITORS WHEN DOING BAND SOUND WORK.BRIANFATBOY RECORDS
