Purchased for our company picnic. Held outside at a local park with approx. 120 people in attendance. Used a speaker and microphone in previous years and people has trouble hearing (especially since we had fans to keep everyone cool) This worked GREAT!A little awkward at first to hold it but we soon caught on!

I ordered this product for Track & Field and needed a microphone that could be detached so I could hook up my wireless microphone headset. I researched this item and was assured that the microphone detached. When I got the item I was surprised that the microphone did NOT come off. DO NOT order this item if you need a unit where you can plug your own microphone into it. This does not work.

The Megaphone works fine but is not as loud as I expected, even with new batteries, and volume controls on max.

I purchased 3 of these for my summer and afterschool program. After a year of heavy duty usage in a summer camp and afterschool program, one had to be replaced and we had to rebuild the wiring in another. Would suggest going to Academy or Dick's and paying a little more for a higher quality product if you plan on using it in a similar way as we have.

Works but cord has a short in it and mic doesn't stay hooked on back. A little modification is necessary.
