Nice handrail. 18" size was perfect for 1 stair from house down to garage. I used a 1" x 4" board attached to the studs and fastened the handrail to that.

Would have raked this higher if it had come with hex head screws. The Phillips heads are too weak for this job

We got this for my nana because she needs a few safety bars in her house but didn't want ugly metal or sterile type of ones you'd see commercially. These are beautiful and we're purchasing more for all around the house

Very pleased with these. My husband has Parkinson's and struggles with balance issues. We have a couple of steps that go down to our den, which is the room we spend most of our time in. We didn't want the metal, rest home looking bars, but knew we needed something for him to grasp as he goes down those steps. These are not only sturdy but look much nicer than anything else we have seen.
