Been using the mixing cup for about a month and it works great! Mixes coffee with cream and sugar very well.

So first the good things, this cup works. I used it 4 to 5 times a day consistently for just over 10 months. The entire time it worked like a champ. It had no trouble with thick cocoa and milk. At the rate I used it, I had to charge it about twice a week.After 10 months it finally died. I took it apart to see what had broken and it was an unexpected failure mode. The good thing was the electronics were fine and the battery still charged up to 3.92V. That means after 10 months of constant charge and discharge (roughly 600 cycles) it still had about 93% of its capacity left.The failure was on the brushes of the motor. It uses a motor with no markings. It's strong enough but the brushes are just little, very thin strips of metal. One of the brushes had just been worn down through friction until it was so short that it didn't touch the contacts on the commutator anymore. The other brush wasn't far behind. I could see they used to be longer because a few of the strands at the top and bottom hadn't been worn because they didn't quite touch. You can see in the picture the yellow lines show how long the brush used to be and the red circle and arrow show the wear on the opposite brush.Everything else about the motor, the battery and the electronics was ok.It's a shame because with just a very small upgrade to the design of the brushes the cup probably would have gone on working for at least another 10 months.All that being said, when my first one died, I liked it so much I bought another identical one to replace it.

This cup is wonderful. Battery lasts and is ready to use when I am ready for a cup of specialty coffee or hot chocolate. It's just fun! Keeps beverage hot and easy to clean. I also like that it included a second magnetic spinner.

I love the concept of a self stir. I tried a couple of other brands and so for with this being a internal battery and USB charger helps. The ones that take double AA's tend to get wet and not suitable and batteries rust or discharge. Gets inside the components. This mug is nice cause it has a magnetic charger and I have no problem keeping the port dry when rinsing and cleaning. The inside of the mug is metal but the outside plastic.Only 2 complaints on this.-The lip ring when drinking does tend to be a little thick when sipping. So I tend to dripple sometimes from my mouth when trying to sip coffee or drink. The outer ring just seems to be taper down from the top silver liner to where the black meets bulges a little.-The lid does not seal with the rubber liner. So when walking with coffee with the lid on top it still leaks and have to constantly clean the floor form the drips coming from the top. So basically lid is useless even when using my thumb to press down. Maybe just needs a thicker rubber liner gasket? I may just wrap a rubber band around it might do the trick?!Over all still use at the office and saves stir sticks.

My son got me this cup for my birthday to keep my coffee hot and stirred and I just love it!!!It is a double walled design and keeps my drink either hot or cold as neededThe magnetic spinner works perfectly!!!Compared to the other cups like this, it is a great value.Easy to clean, durable and looks great.I bought another one!!

I purchased one before, called "the lazy cup", it was made from cheap plastic. This one is sturdier, much better quality, and you don't have to keep your finger on the button to mix. Great product!
