I wasn't sure about this when I ordered it but I was so sick of the napkins always drooping over in my old napkin holder, I decided I'd give it a try. The price was very reasonable, and the napkin holder arrived quickly. It was simple to use, just open the two sides and slide the napkins in. It has a light spring that holds the napkins firmly, but not so much that it's hard to pull one out. Works great! It's a good size, not to big, but big enough to hold the napkins upright. Seems sturdy and well-built. Very simple design, and is actually stylish in its simplicity. It just works. I really like this napkin holder! Good purchase, I'm very happy with it!

The design of this napkin holder is truly commendable. It effectively holds in place all remaining napkins while allowing for easy access to individual ones. Its compact size ensures it takes up minimal space on the table, contributing to a modern aesthetic. However, it would be great if it were available in a variety of metal finishes to suit different decor styles. Overall, a satisfactory product for any dining setting.

This is a great napkin dispenser. I wanted a napkin dispenser that stands vertically to minimize the footprint that it would take on my "lazy Susan". All the other vertical dispensers I have are either fixed in width or have to be manually adjusted in width when the number of napkins change. Normally if you try to just take out one napkin you end up taking more napkins along with the one you want unless you hold the other napkins with your other hand, and even then, you end up messing up the alignment of the other napkins. Well, this holder fixes those issues. The first thing that is great about it is that you can actually grab just one napkin (one of the outer-most napkin on either side) with one hand and the other napkins don't move in the holder. Great design feature. And because of a spring in the holder, it auto adjusts to the number of napkins in the holder. You don't have to adjust the holder because the spring will auto adjust the sides. All in all, a very nice design for a vertical napkin holder that feeds just one napkin at a time.

I don’t like lay-flat style napkin holders, but I also don’t like that napkins tend to fold over and look untidy in stand up style holders. This one is perfect! Streamline and tidy, napkins stay upright even at low quantities. Napkins also easily pull out individually.

I use this to hold my “swedish dish cloths†and it works well. Vertical storage is always nicer, it’s better organized, keeps them handy, and it looks really nice (with my favorite pattern cloth in the front). Nicely made, not flimsy. Not the cheapest solution, but for me was a worthwhile upgrade.

The tension spring is a great idea. It does it's job perfectly when a napkin gets pulled out and only one comes out while the rest stay in place. That's when hear heavenly harmonies and tension fades from my obsessive compulsive shoulders. On the other hand the napkins do slouch a little so you need to knock them into place once in a while. Also at present, Dec 2024, this only comes in black. Very contemporary but I want to buy one for my 86 YO mom and she isn't into black or contemporary. In summary still the best thing I've found since sliced bread...oh wait my robot vacuum. Can't beat it!
